Uteco started the year with a new coordinated image and the entrance with a majority share in the capital of Vision. The Italian manufacturer, leader on a global scale in the sector of printing and converting machines, has completed the great work of rebranding that sees it fielding a new image, a new logo and takes a strategic step towards growth by external lines strengthening itself in the area of vision systems.
“We started off again in this challenging year bolstered by a new strategic plan that included among its key points the continuous strengthening of technological skills, especially in innovative areas that create new value for our customers,” says Aldo Peretti, Executive Chairman of the Colognola ai Colli based group. “We were therefore proud to announce the acquisition of 60% of the share capital of Vision Srl, a hi-tech company that designs and manufactures advanced vision systems for quality control, with a strong focus on industrial automation. We thus inserted a new piece in our development plan, which will allow us to progress in the strategic area of integrated process control, with a strong positive impact on productivity and sustainability of our machines,”
Led by Nicola Lo Russo in the role of Managing Director, Vision brought to Uteco competences and technologies that meet the demand for more and more automated, connected and competitive machines both in terms of environmental sustainability and of production.
In the next issue of Converting magazine, which can be found at Print4All, we continue to talk about the Uteco strategies with an exclusive interview with Cristiano Cividini, Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer of the group
