For Uteco the year 2015, its thirtieth year in business, was marked by a series of events organized at the Veneto-based multinational’s headquarters (Cologna ai Colli, VR), culminating with its participation at Converflex (Hall 2 Stand E11-F20).
In the spotlight, the innovative criteria that make Uteco machines one of a kind and state of the art, valued in markets worldwide.
In addition to rotogravure and flexo printers (UV and EB), the company presents its latest advances in special lamination, offset printing, flexo inkjet hybrid printing (developed as part of a partnership with Kodak) and duplex and triplex coating and lamination, as well as narrow web label printing.
Next rendez-vous
The main events are being held at the Uteco ConverDome, the concern’s new technology excellence center in Verona. The facility hosts live demos and the most innovative technologies set up for customers to conduct tests and on demand demonstrations, in addition to the competencies of the Group’s experts in food packaging as well as nanotechnologies, aerospace, security, printed electronics, etc. Three key events:
• April 22 and 23: open house dedicated to the new and innovative NEXT450 rotogravure system;
• 20-21-22 May: parallel to Converflex/Ipack-Ima, a global open house to present the new compact Onyx XS central drum flexo system, the Crystal 8C-CI specifically for food packaging and the hybrid (EB, solvent and water-based) for printing large formats Onyx 812 HBY 8C-CI;
• 16-18 June: the only event not held in Verona, but in the Netherlands, in collaboration with DGPS, to launch the Thallo offset sleever, with printing demos on flexible packaging using offset web technology.
