Print4All Conference 2024 returns on July 11 in the heart of Valpolicella to discuss “Tomorrow’s printing”. A particularly prominent event in the roadmap to Print4All 2025, it will be a day of training and discussion dedicated to the entire printing community.
The world of professional printing is constantly evolving. Technological innovations, new materials and processes, alternative ways of interacting with customers and suppliers require continuous updating to remain competitive and able to respond to increasingly complex customer demands. In order to hear the voice of market experts, but above all to share the vision of companies and brand owners in an open exchange of ideas and best practices, new trends and emerging technologies, on July 11 at Villa Quaranta, Ospedaletto di Pescantina, in the heart of Valpolicella (Veneto, Italy), the Print4All Conference returns. It represents the most important happening of the year in anticipation of the Print4All 2025 event, dedicated to the world of printing, which will be held next year at Fiera Milano.
Organised by Acimga (Associazione Costruttori Italiani Macchine per l’Industria Grafica, Cartotecnica, Cartaria, di Trasformazione e Affini) and ARGI (Associazione Fornitori Industria Grafica) in collaboration with Fiera Milano, the Print4All Conference event is a well-established tradition, aimed at all communities in the printing and converting industry.
The future of printing? Inclusive and aggregating
The title “The future of printing: supply chain perspectives and innovation for the printing industry of tomorrow” summarizes the objective of the day. Starting from the analysis of the innovations and technological news launched on the market in recent months, a broader scenario will be drawn, leaving great room for transversal debate along the entire supply chain – looking at future directions of the printing world in all segments of the industry, from converting to package printing, from labelling to commercial and industrial printing.
“The Print4All Conference has always been a strategic systemizing project, which goes beyond the mere conference event and finds its result in being the only event where all actors of the entire printing and converting supply chain – manufacturers, printers, communication agencies/designers, brands – meet and relate around the main themes guiding the sector and the market“, says Daniele Barbui, President of Acimga. “This year’s theme wants to once again underline the absolute need to face the challenges of the future from a common perspective, with ever greater inclusiveness and aggregation. This is effectively reflected in the support received from all sector organizations confirming their commitment for the 2024 edition through their sponsorship of the event.”
“The 2024 edition of the Conference is the last fundamental stage of the path towards the next fair, a bridge event that finds its concrete purpose in the Print4All 2025 event“, comments Antonio Maiorano, President of ARGI. “Both events stand out on the global scene because they are transversal and synergistic opportunities, which bring together all levels of the supply chain in the same place and time, embracing all printing technologies related to the three pillars of the industry: packaging & labeling, commercial printing and industrial & wide format.”
Plan and themes
During the day’s proceedings, innovations and technological novelties – looked at from the point of view of both manufacturers and brand owners and creatives who use them – will be aggregated along three lines, anticipating the special areas that will return to the exhibition during Print4All 2025:
- Green Printing: one of the main challenges for the printing industry is sustainability, with a vision that embraces the entire life cycle of the printed product, from production to distribution and disposal. In order to improve the environmental impact of the industry, production waste materials must also be taken into account: they must be treated according to current regulations and with the support of specialised companies that are now on the frontline of investing resources in the research and development of innovative solutions.
- Corrugated Experience: this is the only market segment that is growing steadily and shows no signs of stopping. In recent years, this segment has been nurtured by a strong innovative drive, showing an evolutionary capacity that adds a great value. It finds its greatest expression in Europe and Italy, geographical areas to which belong the major manufacturers of machines and systems for the production, converting and printing of corrugated cardboard, whose R&D activities represent worldwide excellence.
- PrintMAT: in a market context where brands increasingly need to express uniqueness and distinct, personal values, materials and substrates play a fundamental role. In fact, material innovation is changing the way companies produce and is an area of strong experimentation and design creativity, seeking new ways to push the traditional limits of printing.
To give an overview of the state of the art of the market, but also of future prospects and scenarios, experts from the sector will also give a reasoned reading of data from the entire supply chain, both national and global.
