From 10 to 12 March 2015, the international converting community will meet up at ICE Europe 2015 in Munich to monitor the offer of solutions for the converting of paper, film, foil and tissuße, and to gather information on industry trends. The fair is held in conjunction with the second CCE International, the international event inaugurated in 2013, dedicated to corrugated and folding board suppliers.
This year the exhibitors at ICE are about 400 (to which are to be added the 150 of CCE), roughly the same as the last edition, and come from 21 countries (more than 40% the international presences) and will be presenting machines, materials, accessories and services covering a net exhibition space of over 10,000 sqm. In 2013 the event attracted 6,600 visitors from 64 different countries.
Sector meeting with Acimga According to the organizers’ (Mack Brooks Exhibitions) analyses, after Germany, the main exhibiting countries are Great Britain, Italy, Switzerland and the USA. On March 10, under the initiative of Acimga, Italy will also field an interesting sector encounter, on the model of the one held in Milan last December. Acimga’s goal is to enhance the international positioning of Italian the printing and paper&board machinery manufacturers, highlighting the role within the sector of package printing and facilitating the encounter with the principal stakeholders, packaging manufacturers and packaging managers.
The Aimcal conference The fair, known for the numerous live machinery demos at the stands, is focused on the converting of roll fed materials and presents the operators of the various user sectors with the latest proposals in terms of: materials; systems for coating and laminating, drying and hardening, processing, flexo and gravure, control and measurement; accessories; systems for cutting and wrapping, finishing; factory equipment, retrofit; systems for laminating, contract converting and cutting as well as specialized software. This year the main themes concern environmentally friendly processes, new applications, energy saving, automation and digitization.
ICE Europe 2015 also hosts a conference to be held every day from 10 to 12, organized by AIMCAL (Association of International Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators) in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institut IVV, dedicated to web-based processing, web-based coating and drying, web-based coating alone, metrology and inspection.
