From 25th to 27th February, PEIAC (Printing and Printing Equipment Industries association) and CPSC (China Print Show Company Limited) hosted the International Media Week for CHINA PRINT 2025, at the Beijing Marriott Hotel Northeast. Over 120 international trade journalists and representatives from industry associations across the world attended the two-day event dedicated to giving a preview of the next exhibition; Converting Magazine attended as one of the event’s media partners.
CHINA PRINT- the 11th Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition will be held from May 15th to 19th 2025, and the media week was a great opportunity to showcase a wide range of insights from important exhibitors, such as Fuji Group, Founder, Heidelberg, Horizon, HXCP, INKJ, Koenig & Bauer, Komori, Konica Minolta, Landa, Masterwork Group, Ryobi-MHI (Dinga) and many more, presenting their plan for the show and little previews of the machinery on display.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of CHINA PRINT. The first show was held in 1984, with only 135 exhibitors, 86 of which from 10 different international countries, and an area of 9000 square meters. Numbers that do not slightly compare with those announced for CHINA PRINT 2025, with over 1.300 confirmed exhibitors occupying 180.000 SqM of exhibition area and attracting estimated visitors over 200.000 person-times. Forecasts that exceed those of previous successful editions, such as 2013, 2017 and CHINA PRINT 2021, which created an international trade volume of 8 billion yuan, leading the trade fair to become on the world’s most influential printing event.
CHINA PRINT 2025: the themes
The theme of CHINA PRINT 2025 is “4 Decades Together, for a Grand Future”. In the last four decades, China’s GDP has grown very steadily, and the total output value of China’s printing industry grew from 5 billion yuan in the early 1982’s to 1.43 trillion yuan in 2022, increasing 286 times its value. Those forty years also witnessed a swift development of China’s printing machine manufacturing industry and in its quality.
In order to keep pace with the innovations of printing technologies, CHINA PRINT 2025 will feature eight thematic halls for digital pre-press, printing equipments, label printing, comprehensive packaging, innovative materials, intelligent post-press, comprehensive ancillaries and comprehensive brands, all of which gathering main printing brands.
In his closing remarks for the International Media Week, Mr. Bin Yang, Vice President of PEIAC, welcomed professionals from the printing industries across the world to visit CHINA PRINT 2025, to experience a broader platform, showcasing advanced printing equipment, machinery and solutions for all segments of the industry.
