For the international flexible packaging community this 2023 starts with the project of two important appointments.
The first is called Roto4All and will be organized in Milan next the 9 March by the Gruppo Italiano Rotocalco (Italian Rotogravure Group) of Acimga, the Italian manufacturers’ association of machinery for the graphic, paper, converting and related industries, which is part of the Federazione Carta e Grafica (Paper and Graphics Federation) within Confindustria.
This year’s conference, entitled ‘Think, create, rotoprint: one technology, many markets’, will be an opportunity for discussion and dialogue on gravure technology with the involvement of the entire community. You can read the report of the previous event, which took place in Florence on 22 October 2021at this LINK.
The Gruppo Italiano Rotocalco was born with the aim of promoting this printing technology to graphic designers and brand owners; carrying out courses to train personnel; setting up a technical table on national and European regulations impacting on gravure; discussing innovations that can be applied to this technology; and organising an annual event involving all operators in the supply chain. The group consists of companies covering the entire roto production cycle, from machine manufacturers to ink, adhesives, substrates producers.
The second is called Print4All Conference and will take place on 6 and 7 July at a location yet to be defined. It is the 2023 stage of the roadmap leading to the next edition of the international printing and converting exhibition Print4All, which will be held in Milan from 27 to 30 May 2025.
Print4All is part of the broader context of the Innovation Alliance (info HERE and HERE). Conceived as an event for the entire supply chain, with all technologies for all printing applications, the last edition 2022 attracted over 20,000 visitors to Milan. For info click HERE.
The 2023 Print4All Conference will talk about the convergence of technologies and applications in the future of sustainable and effective printing in all industry segments, from graphics to commercial, from packaging to industrial. The programme, currently being finalised, will be published on the event website.
