Converting magazine reviews the critical issues of the industry and the prospects for recovery through a series of interviews with the presidents of the sector associations. We started with three episodes dedicated to Italian associations (Acimga – Association of Italian manufacturers of machinery for the graphic, paper and converting industry; Istituto Italiano Imballaggio – The Italian Institute of Packaging; and Assocarta – trade organisation representing pulp, paper and board manufacturing companies in Italy), and then we moved abroad with the interview with IPAMA ( The Indian Print Packaging and Allied Machinery Manufacturers Association – India). From the subcontinent we move to the New World, to interview Thayer Long, president of APTech – Association for Print Technologies – to learn about the impact that this pandemic is having on the North American market.
